Planets.yml
The messages config file!
This file is used to configure the planets of Minetorio.
planets:
#This is the name you want the planet to be called, it does not have to be the same as the actual minecraft world file name.
Earthlike:
#This is the actual minecraft name of the world in your server folder.
Minecraft World: world
#1.0 is vanilla, 0.5 would rain half as often. 2.0 would rain double as long. 0.0 will make the world never rain, high values will make it always rain like 100.0 will make it rain every 6-90 seconds.
Storm Level: 1.0
#1.0 is vanilla 0.5 would have half the gravity, 2.0 would be double.
Gravity Level: 1.0
#Same as above, effects tidal generators
Tidal Level: 2.0
#Same as above, effects wind generators
Wind Level: 1.0
#1.0 is the same as vanilla, 2.0 will double moon panel output, 0.5 will half it. 0.0 will disable it.
Moon Mod: 1.0
#1.0 is the same as vanilla, 2.0 will double solar panel output, 0.5 will half it. 0.0 will disable it.
Sun Mod: 1.0
#Zero for none, 1.0 will be frequent meteor showers.
Meteor Intensity: 0.0
#1.0 for vanilla, 2.0 means double as fast.
Crop Growth: 1.0
#1.0 for vanilla temps, 2.0 means its way hotter, 0.5 means its wayy cooler. Temperature can damage a player during specific times of the day. Devices can use less or more power depending on the temperature as well.
Temperature: 1.0
#This is vanilla, setting it to 0.5, means there will be half as much daylight. Setting it to zero, makes it always night time.
Day Time Speed: 1.0
#Zero for none, 1.0 will be frequent lightning strikes / lightning storms. This also gives the lightning generator extra chances to get struck by lightning when its not vanilla storming.
Lightning Intensity: 0.0
#Zero means this is the start world. Anything higher represents the distance the planet is from the starter planet. 1.0 = 1km
Start World Distance: 0.0
#The higher these values the faster the gas extractor can fill a container. Oxygen can also determine how breathable a planet is, so the lower it is the faster the player runs out of oxygen on a planet.
Atmosphere:
- OXYGEN:1.0
- HYDROGEN:0.1

#If you set the head code to NONE, the icon for the planet in the atlas will instead be this material. Note that these should be block materials not items.
Atlas Material: GRASS_BLOCK
#This decides the placement of the planet visually to players whilst in space, this can be best viewed as a circle, you want to space your planets along the solar angle, this is more true if Start World Distance of two planets are closer to each other. The combination of the two decides the space they occupy in space.
Solar Angle: 100
#Changes the y position of the planet while viewing it in space, this value is clamped to -50 and 50
Solar Height: 0
#How quickly a planet rotates in place when viewing it in space.
Solar Rotation: 10
#How large the planet looks in space, 1.0 is a *normal* sized planet, 2.0 would be much larger. 0.1 is a better size for moons for example.
Solar Scale: 1.0
#Setting this to 0.0 will make it impossible for that resource zone to spawn on this planet.
#Setting this to 2.0 doubles the chance of it spawning!
Resource Zone Chance Mulitpliers:
- RAW_IRON:1.0 # <- 1.0 does nothing.
#- OIL:1.5, 50% more oil spawns
#- URANIUM:0.5 50% less oil spawns
#- ALL:1.25 <- ALL allows every resource zone to be modified. If this was enabled, raw iron would have 1.0 though in this example, as all occurs first, then the other values take places.
#This setting will make it so resource zones can have more or less resources in them. You can use the ALL modifier here as well.
Resource Zone Richness Mulitpliers:
- RAW_IRON: 1.0
#- ALL:1.25
