Mover Modes

Movers have a few modes that are important to understand.

Motorized Mover

Redstone Repeater Above

This will make a conveyor belt in the direction that the mover is facing. Note that it does not create a conveyor belt going backwards. The delay on the repeater changes how it outputs items on the first belt.

Grabber

Air / None

When a mover is facing away from a belt, it will grab from the closest side of the belt. So if the left side of the belt is closer it will only grab the left item on the belt.

Grabber (Override)

Lever

When a grabber has a lever above it, it can grab from both sides of the belt.

Inserter

Air / None

When a mover is facing towards a belt, it will insert an item into the closet side of the belt. So if the left side of the belt is closer it will insert to the left side of the belt.

Inserter (Override)

Lever

When a inserter has a lever above it, it can insert to both sides of the belt.

Mover

Air / None

This is a mover that doesn't interact with belts rather interacts with one container to another. So a mover moving items from one chest to another or one device to another.

Overflow Mover

Comparator

Will only take from its input if it is full.

Dropper Mover

Weighted Pressure Plate

Will drop items in front of it if there is only air in front of it.

Filters

Movers can have filters applied to them!

To apply a filter to a mover just simply add the item you want to filter into the mover inventory! By default all movers use a whitelist once you place a single item in it! You can however turn this into a blacklist by right clicking any mover with a wire tool! This will invert it!

You can invert the direction a mover is facing by looking at it and hitting F!
