Exporter
The exporter can sell items to other players. This is a great way to work with other peoples factories without having a direct connection via belts, trains or other physical connections. The following are important notes to know about using it though.
You cannot export to yourself.
You can set the price to whatever you like, but importers buy the cheapest first.
Your distance to importers matters, as they pay a fee for the transaction.
The device will sell whatever item is in it, so make sure your only placing one in it.
Not all servers have these enabled, some form of server economy is required for these.
You can collect your funds from your sales at any time buy right clicking the device information.
Right clicking this with a wire tool while OP will make this device have infinite items. It's exports wont take away the items it sells anymore.
Importer
So this device is what buyers of items use. You place the item you want to buy in its open slot on the far right. Then you set a price at which you want to buy the item at. If said item is found for cheaper, it will buy that item for cheaper.
The further the seller is the higher the tax is you will pay per item purchased.
You have to add funds to this device for it to continue to work.
You will always buy the cheapest item first.
You will never buy an item that exceeds the buy price you input.
Right clicking this with a wire tool while OP will make this device have infinite funds. Useful for admins wanting to add an automated way for players to make money from their factories.
