Quality of life awaits you! High tech movement.

circle-info

Always make sure you have a Power Pylon placed nearby so your devices can work!

Roboport

The home of the logistic robots is the roboport, here you can store bots in the top slots of the UI. Logistic robots will always return to their home port after they complete their job. That being said you can place up to 9 stacks of logistic robots in a roboport, so you can have a lot of bots. All roboports, requester chests and provider chests have a channel number. So you can restrict what logistic robot devices work together.

Requester Chest

The top row of the requester chest is where you set the desired item you want stored in the bottom row of the UI. So in the example image, we are requesting logs, you can see in slot 1 that the order was fulfilled. Now if you were to take the bottom stack out either by hand or with a mover, the logistic robots would resupply that log stack with the missing logs. The second slot also has logs, but youll notice it has 32 logs, you can indeed restrict the amount that you want. So in this case the output slot beneath the 32 logs, will never exceed 32 logs. You can see redstone dust on the far right slots, the first order has had its quota reached. But the second hasn't, the bots still need to deliver the remaining items. Its important to understand that these orders are never really completed, the bots will continue to bring the desired items even after the order has been fulfilled once or a hundred times.

Read the above to understand whats going on here!

Provider Chest

The provider chest is simple, you supply it items and the logistic bots will use this chest to fulfil orders for requester chests and for player item orders. The idea is your want your factory to use movers to supply these devices with items so you don't have to.

Player Orders

You can order items from a nearby logistic network by using the command /mt order itemName amount. This will tell the nearby logistic network your looking to have that amount of items delivered to you. So they will bring these items when they are available and if your within range of the network.

You can also use /mt take, after running this command you can open your inventory and select the items you want the logistic network to take from you. They drop these items off in the bottom slots of the roboport, which you can use a mover to empty them and redstribute these back to your provider chests or elsewhere. If there isn't space in the roboport then your take orders wont be done until they have space.
