Moving Liquids
Liquids can be a bit confusing to some players. This part of the guide will explain how you can move liquids around to other devices. Lets start with something simple, putting liquid in a pipe. The pump can collect water from a water source and place it into a liquid pipe directly above it. It will stop doing this though once the liquid pipeline is full of water.

Now that we have water in the pipes, how do we get the water out of the pipes? Well we have to use a Liquid Junction, this can hold liquids like pipes can, but they never let a device push liquid into it. Instead they will try to push liquid into the adjacent devices if they accept that liquid. In the picture below we are simply storing the water into a liquid silo.

Lets say you want to get liquid out of the silo, well if we use what we learned from above, you just need to place a liquid pipe anywhere next to the silo. So in the image below we have placed some pipes that the liquid silo can push its contents into, since its a liquid pipe not a liquid junction. The water in the example below is taken out of the silo and placed into the boiler.

Obtaining Pipes
Both Liquid Pipes and Junctions can be crafted at the Crude Assembler. These are unlocked after researching liquid transport! Despite what the recipe says, you don't have to use andesite walls, you can use granite or diorite walls as well! Though note that liquid pipe lines will not mix. So a granite pipe next to a andesite pipe is not connected, despite how it may visually look.

Liquid Valve
You can drain a pipeline using a liquid valve, this is useful if you accidently put the wrong liquid in a pipe line you built. It can also be used for simply getting rid of a liquid. To use this, it needs to be attached to a Liquid Junction.
