Conveyor Lifts

Move items vertically with ease!

Lift Basics

The following are some basic properties to lifts that will help you better understand them.

  • Lifts can hold four items on it at any given time.

  • There is 4 different speeds for lifts.

  • The direction the lift moves items is based on the direction the player is facing when placing it. Placing a lift against a block while looking up, means that lift will move items from the bottom to the top.

  • Lifts can only move items up or down.

  • You can mix and match lift speeds.

  • You can place items directly onto a lift by right clicking it with an item.

  • You can sneak right click a belt to take items from it.

Obtaining Lifts

Lifts can be obtained from a Crude Assembler. This device is where you can craft all lifts. Lifts are from fences and redstone. These are a much cheaper way to move items then belts since wood is typically very abundant. To get faster lifts you will have to get the required tech.

Despite the Lifts recipe saying it takes oak fences, you can actually use any oak fence in its recipe. This will determine the color of the lift. You can always use an Auto Stripper to remove the color if needed!

Movers & Lifts

Movers work hand in hand with Lifts. Lifts can't do anything on their own really without a mover. So here are some key notes about lifts and belts.

  • Movers will always take from the side that is closest to it by default. So if the mover is close to the left side of the lift, it will only take items from the left side.

  • Movers can have modifier's on them to change this, with the right *mod* you can have the mover grab from any side of the lift.

  • Similarly movers can only put items onto the closest side of the lift, unless they have a mod allowing them to place on any side of the lift.

  • Movers can take items from a lift if its facing upwards or downwards from a belt. In this arrangement, the mover will take from any side of the lift by default.
